The Architecture & Design Charter High School /dba/ Charter High School for Architecture + Design (“CHAD”), is registered as a Nonprofit Corporation with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and as a Tax-Exempt Corporation under U.S. Federal IRS Code 501(c)(3). CHAD operates as a public charter school under Pennsylvania Charter School Law with authorization from the School District of Philadelphia. CHAD is governed by an independent volunteer Board of Trustees who set its mission and strategic direction, appoint and oversee professional management, and provide for the school’s fiscal and legal wellbeing.
As a publicly funded entity, CHAD ensures its compliance under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law; all requests made under the Right to Know Law should be made to dannecharico@sandsaidel.com. The board welcomes questions and suggestions that can help CHAD better serve and support its mission and students.
